Minnesota Sea Grant's Watershed Game project team will be presenting a session on the Watershed Game at the 2025 Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR)/National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) Conference.
The session title is "Innovating water extension through gaming - playing to win: engaging local leaders with a serious game to foster successful programs through increased watershed literacy and collaboration."
This session will be Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. CT. The UCOWR/NIWR Conference will be held June 3-5, 2025.
The goal of the presentation is to teach participants how to facilitate critical conversations around community resilience and land-use planning using the Watershed Game. The session is for water resource managers, practitioners, researchers, and regulators.
