New: Minnesota Sea Grant Fall 2026 Fast-Track Request for Proposals
Minnesota Sea Grant (MNSG) requests proposals for grants of up to $10,000 for research projects of up to six months in duration. Proposals must explicitly support MNSG’s mission and goals, actions, and outcomes outlined within Minnesota Sea Grant’s 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. Proposals should address urgent needs, leverage exceptional opportunities, and/or support exploratory research that will form the basis for the submission of a larger proposal. Projects with clear connections or applications to Lake Superior, Minnesota’s coastal communities, and/or aquaculture are particularly encouraged. Proposals should clearly benefit the communities MNSG seeks to serve. MNSG intends to fund up to six projects through this RFP.
Intent to Submit Form due October 13, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
