The Watershed Game (WSG) team will host a workshop with two sessions.
The morning session will highlight the Coast Model: the Local Leader Version, which is designed for use with groups of elected and appointed officials, local organizations, and/or community groups.
The afternoon session will highlight the Classroom Version, which is designed for use with middle and high school students.
Workshop participants will learn how the Watershed Game can be used to engage their audiences and help meet education, planning, or program objectives. The workshop goal is for participants to leave ready to facilitate WSG game play with their communities and/or classrooms. The training includes an overview of key concepts included in the WSG, other lessons and resources to use with the WSG, and training on how to tie the WSG to local issues in the Delaware Estuary.
