The Watershed Game is an interactive tool that helps individuals understand the connection between land use and water quality. Participants learn how different land uses affect water and natural resources, build their knowledge of best management practices (BMPs), and see how their choices can prevent adverse impacts. Participants apply plans, practices, and policies that help them achieve a water quality goal for a stream, lake, river, or coastal estuary.
This event is free to attend for undergraduate students of NSCI 201: Minnesota Ecology & Conservation Biology to explore water science applicable to their everyday lives and communities, especially human impacts on the environment in Minnesota.
