Register for the 2022 Minnesota Association for Environmental Education (MAEE) Conference September 30, 2022, through October 2, 2022, to attend the conference session, The Watershed Game: Discovering the Connection Between Land Use and Water Quality.

Description:

The Watershed Game is an interactive, educational tool that helps both students and adults understand the connection between land use and water quality. In this conference session, participants will learn about and play the new Coast Model of the game which includes typical land uses of a freshwater coastal region (e.g., the Great Lakes) with the goal of reducing pollution to the coast and building resilience to flooding. There are game versions for both classrooms and local community groups.
