Minnesota Water Resources Conference: Day One

Minnesota Sea Grant Graduate Research Assistant Samantha McClung will be presenting on PFAS deposition research the first day of the Minnesota Water Resources Conference.

MNSG Water Resource Management and Policy Extension Educator and Water Resources Center Senior Research and Extension Coordinator John Bilotta is a member of the Minnesota Water Resources Conference planning committee and co-leading the conference. 

The Minnesota Water Resources Conference will allow participants to learn about new, practical, and applied water resource engineering solutions, management techniques, and current research. The conference will be an opportunity for participants to address:

  • Lessons learned from the implementation of engineering projects.
  • Best practices discovered in the design and application of water resource management techniques.
  • Implications of water policy decisions.
  • Research into current and emerging issues.

Registration
Registration is required for participants.

Cost of Attendance
The registration fee includes access into all plenary and concurrent sessions, special sessions, poster sessions, conference materials, and up to 1.15 CEUs.

  • Participant - Early Bird: $400 (before 9/16); Regular: $450 (starting 9/16)
  • Student (full-time) - Early Bird: $85 (before 9/16); Regular: $110 (starting 9/16)
  • Single Day Registration - Early Bird: $300 (before 9/16); Regular: $350 (starting 9/16)
     

Day One: MNSG Sessions

  • Samantha McClung will present in a session titled "PFAS in Wet Deposition and Sediments from the Western Great Lakes Region: Insights into the Profile of Atmospherically Deposited PFAS". This session will occur in the first day in Concurrent Session I: Track III titled "PFAS Deposition, Concentration, and Treatment in Water Bodies". McClung's presentation will be from 10:40 - 10:55 a.m., with Q&A from 10:55 - 11:00 a.m.
