Gathering of Great Minds 2026

Minnesota Sea Grant, in collaboration with the Great Lakes Aquarium, is offering a professional learning opportunity to educators at the Gathering of Great Minds 2026, hosted by the Northeast Area School Consortium, in Esko, Minnesota.

The collaborative session, "Level Up Your Lessons! Borrow a Great Lakes Science Kit from Minnesota Sea Grant and the Great Lakes Aquarium," is a hands-on, play-based session where educators will learn new and engaging ways to bring wonder, science content, and skills into their classrooms. Educators will explore education kits available from Minnesota Sea Grant and the Great Lakes Aquarium that are available to borrow for free. Educators will leave this session with a wealth of ready-to-use classroom resources and the confidence to integrate high-interest, game-based water science learning into their curriculum.

This event for educators in Northeast Area School Consortium school districts is not open to the public.
