Registration is required to attend this in-person event. This event is part of the 2022 Annual Water Resources Conference that will take place June 14 - 16, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Greenville, South Carolina.

Description:

Register for the 2022 Annual Water Resources Conference and attend the session, Educating and Engaging Communities to Enhance Water Quality Knowledge and Build Community Resilience on June 16, 2022. This session will include an introduction to the Minnesota Sea Grant Watershed Game, provide information on how the game can be used to help connect with local communities and students, and allow for a demonstration play of the game.

Minnesota Sea Grant and University of Minnesota Extension teamed up with the University of Alabama, Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to develop a new Coast Model of the Watershed Game to help participants learn how land uses impact water quality, natural resources, and community resilience in coastal areas.
