Biography

I am responsible for the design, construction, and management of the wet labs and fish systems in the MNSG Aquaculture Lab. I will work closely with other Minnesota Sea Grant staff, U of M extension educators, and Sea Grant extension educators to provide outreach and improve aquaculture production across Minnesota and the Great Lakes region. 

My research interests focus on larval culture, recirculating aquaculture systems, and improving sustainable production of bait and food fish.

The MNSG Aquaculture Lab is a training, demonstration and research facility on the University of Minnesota's St. Paul campus to introduce interested students and potential farmers to different concepts of aquaculture.
