The second session of the 2027 Aquaculture Leadership Academy, co-hosted by Texas Sea Grant and Minnesota Sea Grant, will take place in Palacios, Texas, from Monday, October 4, to Thursday, October 7, 2027.
The Sea Grant Aquaculture Leadership Academy (ALA) is a professional development and training program for early- and mid-career aquaculture extension professionals across the United States. It focuses on building extension skills, expanding professional networks, and exposing participants to aquaculture in different regions of the country to support a growing U.S. aquaculture industry.
Participants are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, October 3, 2027, and depart on Friday, October 8, 2027, out of George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) Airport.
