Join Itasca Waters and Minnesota Sea Grant in learning about floodwater mosquitoes as part of the Practical Water Wisdom webinar series, co-sponsored by MNSG.
Floodwater mosquitoes are abundant in northern Minnesota during the summer and can ruin a camping trip and transmit dangerous diseases. This presentation will describe the environments where these mosquitoes thrive, habitat controls that homeowners can implement to reduce mosquito numbers on their properties, and measures that Minnesotans can take to reduce disease transmission risks while enjoying the great outdoors.
