How Workforce Development Can Build Climate Resilience

Panel Discussion at the 2023 Midwest Climate Resilience Conference

Minnesota Sea Grant Great Lakes Transportation Extension Educator Kelsey Prihoda will be a part of the How Workforce Development Can Build Climate Resilience panel discussion facilitated by City of Duluth Director of Workforce Development Elena Foshay, as part of the 2023 Midwest Climate Resilience Conference

This panel discussion will be centered around two questions:

  1. What jobs will be needed to help build climate resilience?
  2. What workforce development programs or initiatives will be needed to make sure we have the workers to fill those jobs?

The Midwest Climate Resilience Conference will bring together citizens and representatives from the public, private, and non-profit sectors to inspire and encourage climate adaptation in communities throughout Minnesota and broadly the Midwest region.

The Midwest Climate Resilience Conference is hosted by the University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership in collaboration with a wide range of partners and supporters, including Minnesota Sea Grant.
