Registration and cost of attendance

  • Register
  • General admission $60. Attend all three days of the Summit (virtual and in-person).
  • Virtual session admission $25. Attend the virtual half-day program on March 8, 2023. Free field trip registration also available for virtual session admission.
  • Students free. Students of any grade level or status may attend all three days of the Summit at no charge.

Description

The 2023 St. Louis River Summit is an opportunity to share and learn about the St. Louis River. This is a three-day event (March 8, 2023, through March 10, 2023) hosted by the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve (LSNERR).

The 2023 Summit will include:

  • Inspiring keynotes
  • Presentations about current St. Louis River work
  • In-person poster session
  • Networking sessions
  • Optional in-person field trips
  • Access to virtual Zoom session links

Learn about:

  • The status and findings of current research
  • The results of implementing projects
  • Ideas and status of future work

Wednesday, March 8, 2023:

  • 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT: Field trips around the St. Louis River Estuary.
  • 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. CT: Virtual Summit program via Zoom.
  • 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. CT: In-person River Talk at the LSNERR.

Thursday, March 9, 2023:

  • 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT: In-person Summit program at the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UW-Superior) Yellowjacket Union.
  • 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. CT: In-person networking sessions and lunch break at the UW-Superior Yellowjacket Union.
  • 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. CT: In-person Summit program at the UW-Superior Yellowjacket Union.
  • 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT: In-person poster session at the UW-Superior Yellowjacket Union.

Friday, March 10, 2023:

Call for abstracts

Submit an abstract for the 2023 St. Louis River Summit. Presentations may cover a broad range of topics related to the St. Louis River.
