What I do 

As a 2026-27 Minnesota Sea Grant Science and Policy Fellow, I will work with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR).  In this role, I will develop a project that addresses the DNR's need for improved guidance on wetland water levels

Outreach Projects

The Minnesota Sea Grant Science and Policy Fellowship program is soliciting applications from state, municipal, and county agencies, legislative committees, tribal agencies, and nonprofit organizations within Minnesota to become hosts for the new MNSG Science and Policy Fellowship Program. The fellowship program, which started in 2025, seeks to provide hands-on, experiential pathways to careers in science policy for skilled graduate students and technical expertise to the organizations who host them.

Minnesota Sea Grant's Science and Policy Fellowship program seeks applications from current and recent graduate students who will bring technical skills, innovative ideas, and a passion for using science to inform and shape policy.
