Join the Bugs Below Zero team for an interactive insect demonstration for all ages that connects weather, streams, aquatic insects, and fish during a winter celebration at the Candlelight Trail & Community Night. This event is organized by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge.

Enjoy the warmth of community on a winter evening at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge with a candle lit luminary trail, Winter Storytelling with Hope Flanagan, sharing stories of Indigenous culture & traditions, a screening of the 'Bold North' documentary, nature crafts and more. 

Free snacks and cocoa will be provided courtesy of the Minnesota Valley Refuge Friends. This free event is open to the public and does not require registration.
