2023 St. Louis River Quest

Description

St. Louis River Quest is an annual event for sixth grade students from the Duluth-Superior area to learn about the St. Louis River industries and ecosystems through a series of hands-on learning stations.

Minnesota Sea Grant is hosting a station for the 2023 St. Louis River Quest event called "Pollution Hide n' Seek" that will introduce students to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Great Lakes Sediment Surveillance Program. Students will learn how pollution ends up in sediment, try to clean up pollution from sediment, and learn why some pollutants are harder to remove from mud than others.

Note: This event is for sixth grade students and their teachers, it is not open to the public.
