Internship and Fellowship Program

The new 2025 Minnesota Sea Grant Science and Policy Fellowship program is soliciting applications from state, municipal, and county agencies, legislative committees, tribal agencies, and nonprofit organizations within Minnesota to become hosts for the new MNSG Science and Policy Fellowship Program. This new fellowship program seeks to provide hands-on, experiential pathways to careers in science policy for skilled graduate students and technical expertise to the organizations who host them.

Knauss Fellowships match graduate students who have an interest in Great Lakes, ocean, and resources national policy with hosts in the legislative and executive branches of government.

The new 2025 Minnesota Sea Grant Science and Policy Fellowship program is soliciting applications from current and recent graduate students who will bring technical skills, innovative ideas, and a passion for using science to inform and shape policy. This new fellowship program seeks to provide hands-on, experiential pathways to careers in science policy for skilled graduate students and technical expertise to the organizations who host them.

This fellowship places Ph.D. students in research-based fellowships that provide support for up to three years.

The NOAA Coastal Management Fellowship provides on-the-job education and training opportunities in coastal resource management and policy for postgraduate students and to provide project assistance to state coastal zone management programs.
