This month’s TPFF presenters are Leya Charles, Water Assessment and Impaired Waters List Coordinator at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and Summer Streets, Research Scientist at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Leya and Summer will provide an overview of the MPCA assessment process with a focus on information regarding specific impairments being proposed on the draft 2024 Impaired Waters List for PFOS in fish tissue in two local Duluth waterbodies.

The in-person side of the event will take place at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency office in Duluth. A zoom option is also available. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested.

  • Directions: Take the elevator to the 4th floor. The conference room is a right turn from the elevator.
  • Public parking in Canal park is free. Commercial lots are not free.
  • Lunch will be provided.
