Prospective Host Informational Webinar: Minnesota Sea Grant Water Science to Policy Fellowship Program

Event Date/Time
-

Minnesota Sea Grant (MNSG) is holding an informational webinar for potential hosts of the Water Science to Policy Fellowship Program, sponsored by MNSG and Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).

Hosts may include state, municipal, and country agencies, legislative committees, tribal agencies, and nonprofit organizations in the state of Minnesota. The webinar will provide an overview of the program, including key details about the program, timeline, application process, and funding.

The MNSG Science and Policy Fellowship Program aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and policy development and implementation by placing fellows in host organizations for one-year fellowships to tackle water resource issues critical to Minnesotans. MNSG’s program seeks to help meet Minnesota’s science-policy workforce needs, support a pipeline of professionals ready to address complex environmental challenges, and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the state’s water resources.

This event is free and open to prospective hosts for the Water Science to Policy Fellowship Program. Advance registration is required.
