Coastal Hazards of Superior Member Meeting

Registration:

Please register in advance to attend this event.

Description:

Please join us for our next Coastal Hazards of Superior (CHAOS) Community of Practice member meeting. CHAOS is a community for sharing knowledge and resources about natural hazards that affect Lake Superior's coastal communities.

Director of the City of Ashland Parks and Recreation Sara Hudson, will discuss the coordinated efforts made by the City of Ashland to address coastal hazards and increase public access to the Lake Superior waterfront.

City of Duluth Construction Project Supervisor Mike LeBeau, will share about the coordinated efforts taken by the City of Duluth to rebuild the Duluth Lakewalk, protecting it from storm damage and other hazards.

We also want to provide an opportunity for CHAOS members to connect with one another, so during this meeting, we will have time dedicated for members to freely share or hear from other community of practice members. Do you have a project you’d like to share or new staff you’d like to introduce to other CHAOS members? Would you like to get feedback from other members on an issue you’re facing? We’d love to hear from you at the meeting.
