Description:
This annual summer event is free to attend and no registration is required. The Great Lakes Aquatic Invasive Species Landing Blitz is an opportunity for boaters and other water recreators across the Great Lakes region to learn about the risks of spreading aquatic invasive species (AIS). It is also a chance for boaters and recreators to learn about preventing the introduction and spread of AIS from watercraft movement between water bodies; emphasizing on the importance of cleaning, draining, and drying boats whenever they come out of the water, and disposing of unwanted bait in the trash.
Minnesota events are being coordinated by Minnesota Sea Grant along with other local partners.
