Lake Superior Water Levels

In 2010, Lake Superior's water level has returned to its pre-2006 level. From 1998 to 2007, however, lake levels dropped steadily until they reached near-record lows in 2007. Below are pictures our director, Jeff Gunderson, took in April 2007 showing the low lake levels near Duluth. Photos are offered in both high and low resolution. Feel free to use these images, crediting Jeff Gunderson, Minnesota Sea Grant.
