Minnesota Sea Grant seeks to maintain and enhance Minnesota’s coastal environments and economies through research, education, and outreach. One way we do this is by offering competitive support of science that produces tools and technologies for responsible management and sound policy decisions regarding Lake Superior and Minnesota’s inland water resources.

We identify topics for our competitive request for grant proposals through ongoing communication involving our extension educators, advisory board members, and community stakeholders.
