This meeting is for undergraduate students who want to learn more about Minnesota and Wisconsin Sea Grant's 2025 Community Engaged Internship (CEI) opportunity.
The St. Louis River, spanning Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin, was once a pollution hotspot but has seen major restoration. The river is cleaner now than it has been in decades and with more people coming to the river for recreation, water safety education is more important than ever.
The St. Louis River Water Safety CEI is a paid 10-week opportunity (June 2 - August 8, 2025) to work with Minnesota and Wisconsin Sea Grant programs to expand the Paddle Safe Twin Ports project and, in collaboration with the St. Louis River Alliance, promote safe recreation on the St. Louis River National Water Trail.
This meeting is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
