Minnesota Sea Grant (MNSG) extension educators Heidi Ferris and Julia Grenn will lead a breakout session at the 2026 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Education Conference, hosted by MINNdependent on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
The "Amp Up Impact - Aquaculture & Great Lakes Education Resources" session from 10:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. will explore a variety of hands-on and online resources such as kits, maps, tools, research and educational resources for aquaculture and Great Lakes learning.

The conference will bring together educators, STEM specialists, and school leaders to share insights, new resources, and innovative ideas for educators to bring back to their schools to promote learning and engagement for students. Educators can earn continuing education units (CEUs) by attending this conference.
