Help Protect St. Louis County Waters and Learn How to Identify and Report Aquatic Invasive Species.

All sessions are free, family friendly, and open to the public!

The St. Louis River Alliance's AIS Sentry Program is a citizen-science-based early detection program. It is designed to empower community members to recognize and report possible AIS sightings from across the region.

Field experiences with paddling opportunities are available for those interested in becoming certified Sentries. Customized educational talks are available for volunteer and outdoor groups who want to increase their knowledge of AIS threats in our area as well as how to use online reporting and tracking websites and smartphone applications.

Support and resources for the AIS Sentry Program are provided by Minnesota Sea Grant and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

Sessions will run about 2.5 hours, with the following options available:
