Rain Garden Workshop

Raingardens designed to capture rainwater and grow beautiful plants that don't mind being wet. They perform important functions by slowing down runoff and filtering pollutants before they reach streets, rivers, and lakes. This workshop, led by Minnesota Sea Grant and the Regional Stormwater Protection Team, will provide training on how to design, install, and maintain a raingarden. Homeowners, gardeners, landscape professionals, and anyone interested in gardening and preserving Minnesota's streams and Lake Superior should attend.

Cost: $25 (plus $5 for each person attending from the same household). Registration includes one copy of The Blue Thumb Guide to Raingardens, workshop materials and refreshments.
