Upper Midwest Invasive Species Conference

The third biennial Upper Midwest Invasive Species Conference (UMISC) will be held to exchange information on invasive species of the Upper Midwest. The goal of UMISC is to improve management methods of invasive species, specifically in the areas of prevention, control, and containment. Anyone who works in an environmental field or has an interest in preventing the spread of invasive species is invited to attend this conference.

The Invasive Plants Association of Wisconsin, Midwest Invasive Plant Network, Minnesota Invasive Species Advisory Council and the Wisconsin Invasive Species Council are hosting UMISC. Minnesota Sea Grant is participating on conference planning committees.
