The second Water Research Symposium is a gathering of water specialists to identify research needs for Minnesota's waterways and develop a prioritized five-year research agenda for the University of Minnesota Water Resources Center (WRC).

The symposium will start with a panel discussion of research that has been completed or is currently underway. The remainder of the day will consist of three breakout sessions to collect ideas on research needs. Following the symposium, the WRC will send out a survey requesting feedback about the importance of the research needs identified during the symposium.

This event is hosted by the WRC and co-sponsored by Minnesota's Board of Water and Soil Resources, Department of Agriculture, Department of Natural Resources, and Pollution Control Agency.
