The Opportunity:

The workshop will take place aboard the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) research vessel, the Lake Guardian, on Lake Huron, North America's second largest inland sea by surface area.
The Shipboard and Shoreline Science Workshop is a unique, expenses-paid, cruise that allows educators to work with Great Lakes Sea Grant staff, EPA researchers, and scientists. Successful applicants must be willing to integrate Great Lakes and marine science into their teaching curriculum. Graduate credits for participating in this workshop are available through the University of Minnesota Duluth.
