Symposium: Water and Agriculture in the 21st Century

May 6, 2011
9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Northstar Ballroom
St. Paul Student Center
University of Minnesota Twin Cities
2017 Buford Ave
St. Paul, MN 55108

The symposium is free, but registration is required.

You are invited to a free symposium being hosted by the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) on the St. Paul campus, which features Extension specialists Gary Sands, John Moncrief, and Carl Rosen.

How much farmers should be blamed for the agriculture affects water quality is an ongoing debate. Rather than arguing over who is responsible, University of Minnesota researchers are finding new ways to reduce agriculture's impact on our state's streams, lakes and aquifers. The program features scientists sharing how their discoveries affect the big picture of Minnesota's waters today and in coming decades.
