Finalists for MN Sea Grant Director Address Public
Two finalists for the MN Sea Grant Director position, each with a career-long history in the field of aquatic science and a deep concern for the Great Lakes ecosystem, will present their respective visions for the Minnesota Sea Grant program on Monday and Tuesday, November 9th and 10th, at 3:00 p.m. each day in 173 Kirby Plaza on UMD campus. All are welcome to attend and size up the candidates in person. Both speeches also will be broadcast online on UMConnect at the links listed below.

Jeff Gunderson, Interim Director of MN Sea Grant and a Fisheries and Aquaculture Extension Educator, will speak about "Developing a Long-Term Vision to Focus a Short-Term Plan for Minnesota Sea Grant," on Monday, Nov. 9, at 3:00 p.m. in 173 Kirby Plaza.

Randall Hicks, Professor, UMD Department of Biology and Director of the Center for Freshwater Research & Policy, will present his "Vision of Minnesota Sea Grant in the Next Decade," on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 3:00 pm. in 175 Kirby Plaza.
