Gales of November, open to the public, was started 22 years ago by diver Elmer Engman to give local divers a chance to share recent diving adventures. It has evolved into an event that brings the Lake Superior community together to learn about underwater exploration, lighthouses, history, diving technology, shipwrecks and more.
